Based on findings from over countries and 8, respondents, this research offers significant insight into the current and future impact of disruptive and convergent forces, helping business leaders and organizations globally uncover meaningful tools for navigating change. In the current zeitgeist, it can sometimes feel as if the march of progress is a speeding train, erratically driven by technology, in which we — the passengers — have no control over the outcome or destination.

The course provides opportunities for students to discover patterns and extract meanings from emerging trends. Global trends in the 21 st century are examined and are either accepted or rejected on a sound set of criteria. Students will be asked to create and analyze scenarios that will challenge them to 1 formulate their stances on issues or concerns; 2 propose interventions and; 3 formulate alternative futures.
