In: Social Issues. Prejudice and Discrimination Article Going on my 6-month expedition to India, I have explored, listen, saw and felt many emotions I cannot begin to explain. I started keeping a journal of everything I know was worth writing about. The main point about writing my journal was based on discrimination and prejudice towards the people in India especially woman. It is very disappointing to know that there is still gender discrimination going on in India. We all live in a world where we feel according to Macionis that on a single level person either play up or play down their ethnicity, depending on whether they want to fit in or stand apart from the atmospheres society.

Equality or Not? Does the United States Constitution allow for equality? The Amendments do make equality possible in the U. The Constitution makes sure that no one in the country is deprived of rights. They let citizens express themselves, worship whatever they choose, and vote for political positions. In a closer look, behind this idea, lays the fact that people are possessors of rights, equal rights possessors. The implication of this was that they are equal under the law, thereby; people would have equal opportunity to pursuit a way of life that would please them as long as they had social responsibility about the way they do it.

A lot of what Saul had experienced through his journey many Canadian Indigenous people shared the same fate. This fear disrupts the life of Saul like many other indigenous people in Canada.
