I'm writing a research paper on Dance Therapy and how the benefits really do make a difference in a persons life. I need some help though finding sources or arguments that dance therapy really does not work for a counterargument. If anyone can find a book or a website or a journal article that shows this side, that would be wonderful and very much appreciated. Googling finds lots of for dance therapy, but not the counter arguments. I find it hard to imagine any - but then I'm prejudiced because I love dancing.

The American Journal of Dance Therapy AJDT presents original contributions, case material, reviews, and studies by leading educators and practitioners in the field. Reflecting the dramatic growth of the profession over the last half-century, the journal offers articles on working with new populations, changing goals, innovative techniques, and new methods of training. It also examines and evaluates current professional issues, outcome research, and assessment tools. It is a valuable resource for administrators, psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and creative arts therapists in the disciplines of music, art, and drama. Issue 2, December
Humans are, at a cellular level, born to dance. In a study in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences , researchers found that even tiny infants had the ability to respond to the beat in a piece of music, and the better they could match the movements of their wee bodies to the sounds coming into their small ears, the more they smiled. Moving just feels good, and it seems to be a hardwired response. That response might stay in place when all other forms of communication have faded away.
