Every business can benefit from better project monitoring. With the right software, it's easier than many people think. Resume Mirror, a division of Talent Technology Corporation, is a software company that builds software components, online services and applications for the Human Resources and Recruiting industry. Resume Mirror knew it had to improve its project monitoring capabilities. The company suspected that some of its projects were completing below delivery and profitability expectations and corrective actions were occurring too late or not at all during the project. We need a way to make sense of all the information to know what's really going on.
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
ResumeProcessing Web Service
With the rapid growth of Internet-based recruiting, there are a great number of personal resumes among recruiting systems. To gain more attention from the recruiters, most resumes are written in diverse formats, including varying font size, font colour, and table cells. However, the diversity of format is harmful to data mining, such as resume information extraction, automatic job matching, and candidates ranking. Supervised methods and rule-based methods have been proposed to extract facts from resumes, but they strongly rely on hierarchical structure information and large amounts of labelled data, which are hard to collect in reality. In this paper, we propose a two-step resume information extraction approach. In the first step, raw text of resume is identified as different resume blocks.
Recruitment Management Human Resources Software
Ten years ago, only large recruitment firms and big-budgeted corporations could afford to use resume screening software as part of their talent acquisition process. Job seekers who were applying to small-to-mid-sized companies were immune from the vagaries of these tools. Even fairly small companies can afford to adopt some kind of resume extraction, screening and management software, either directly or through a full-service hiring solutions firm such as Staffback Inc.
